This website contains documents, programs and homework that I produced while attending school. This is not a collection of all the work I ever did for school, but rather a selection of material that might be interesting to the public. There are available for private, academic and non-profit use. Also, I cannot guarantee for anything - so everything here is provided "as is".

Citing sources is an important part when reusing other people's work. There are different standards on how to cite sources, e.g. the MLA Style, Chicago or the IEEE Standard. It doesn't matter which one you use, all that matters is that you use one.

IBM RUP für kleine Projekte (german)
Meine Diplomarbeit an der HTL St. Pölten, Abteilung EDV und Organisation, beschäftigt sich mit dem modernen Projektmanagementansatz des IBM RUP. Sie gibt eine kurze Einführung in die Entwicklung von Software, stellt existierende Prozessmodelle kurz vor und erläutert danach die Grundlagen des IBM RUP™, mit einem speziellen Fokus auf kleine und mittelgroße Softwareprojekte. Das letzte Kapitel dokumentiert die Anpassung des RUP™ Frameworks an ein kleines Projekt mit fünf Mann und etwa tausend Mannstunden.

Using ZIP-Routines in Java

A console-based application, written in Java. The user can enter a source directory, a target archive and an optional source archive. The program creates the target archive and copies the files from the directory into the archive. If the user specified a source archive, the files are only added if they are not in the source archiv yet or if the file in the source archive is older. The user should also be able to specifiy an unlimited amount of Include and Exclude filters (e.g. *.doc).
